Topkapi Palace: Topkapı is a large museum in the east of the Fatih district of Istanbul in Turkey.The heart of the Ottoman Empire, Topkapi Palace was the residence of sultans and their harem, and the center of state administration. The museum showcases Ottoman treasures, sacred relics, and valuable collections.
Hagia Irene Church: Hagie Irene,meaning Holy Peace,was an Orthodox Church build by order of Constantine I. of the ruins of a pagan temple.It was the first church of Contantinople and the main church untill Hagia Sophia was completed. One of the oldest and largest Byzantine churches in Istanbul, Hagia Irene is renowned for its excellent acoustics. It is also considered the first museum in Turkey. (Topkapı Palace is closed on Tuesday,replaced with Islamic Art Museum or Basilica Cistern.)
Grand Bazaar: One of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, the Grand Bazaar houses approximately 4,000 shops. It offers a wide range of products such as gold, carpets, spices, and souvenirs. (Closed on Sunday)
